Right wingers don't actually believe in free speech. See how they react to someone they agree with facing a backlash for the things they said. The free speech of opponents is ALWAYS treated as an affront on their rights, as censorious "Political correctness."

By contrast, the left makes distinctions on what kind of speech should be allowed based on it's function. Threats are bad and should be illegal.

While every lefty I've ever seen agrees that most things short of violent threats should be legal.

Though many lefties argue that private entities do not have to provide a platform for speech that's grossly offensive, though grossly offensive speech should remain legal.

There's no free speech issue involved when a bunch of people see a public figure saying something offensive, and criticize or even attack them for saying it. That's just...more speech. Exactly what the right claims to want.

"You can't even have an anti-feminist opinion without someone condemning you for it." Okay, but there's still no free speech issue there.

More proof that the right hates free speech: Any video on YouTube that disagrees with them gets mass-reported falslely in an attempt to take down the video and creator, while in other places, they claim that being banned from YT is a free speech issue.
