Thread on information warfare awareness: Here’s an example of reflexive control in propaganda.

Coupled with this graphic as a bias primer, the reflexive control sparks the “dispositional attribution”.

Dispositional Attribution was the (likely unintended) result of when Zina Bash receives a text then makes the 👌 symbol. It sparks a predictable result of actions at the target. (Source: https://www.amazon.com/Information-Warfare-Embryo-Narrative-Illusion-ebook/dp/B079QLY2DB …, h/t @ArtOfTheHak)

The goal of reflexive control is to ‘control’ the ‘reflex’ of the opponent by creating a certain model of behavior in the system it seeks to control.

The goal here is to make you think- were you goaded into a controlled response today and reacted as expected? In the current constant state of information warfare, you can choose your reaction better, if you can recognize the threat.

I encourage the reader to research historical references of psychological warfare in order to recognize the threat and react smartly. Here’s a few links for further reading:

Addendum: yes, I have seen this video. Yes, I think it’s likely she received a text to do the 👌. I also understand the policy decisions her and her husband stand by are also racist AF.

The question is, what is the best way to react to it?
