emmalea on G: ''it's interesting, now that you mention the "horror garden" idea, i think that's very much what i was attempting to do with my first book, G (another alphabetic book...), which is set in a garden, both analog and digital, and i tried to convey the uncanniness of it. usually the "forest" is associated with horror, but i think the garden is so horrific too, the cutting, etc. a process that very much resembles writing. the violence, terror, and tenderness of it.''
