CONCEPT NAME:
CODED MESSAGES
Concept Overview:
The Presidential election is obscured and it's hard to tell what the candidates believe in. Let WSJ bring clarity to their coded and misleading stance, through facts and clear answers.
Execution Ideas
Obscuring candidates opinions with loud oppressive type so they're difficult to parse the meaning
Creating an actual coded alphabet/language that users would have to try and figure out and coming up with some kind of incentive/reward around that and also having witty copy to accompany
Using imagery/iconography puzzles to hint at what the different candidates views are (opposite of friendly and clear UX but intentional
Intense fast paced animation that speeds across the user leaving them almost dazed by the intense brash of information that they can't parse. The solution? WSJ Talk 2020.
Why is understanding what the presidential candidates believe in so difficult? Decode the 2020 candidates with the new WSJ Talk 2020 tool.
