We must never forget the joy of doing something slow and something difficult, the satisfaction of not doing what is easiest. The constellation of inconvenient choices may be all that stands between us and a life of total, efficient conformity.

the world is not a map but a rich, luscious, complex territory
Work is love made visible. And if you cannot work with love but only with distaste, it is better that you should leave your work and sit at the gate of the temple and take alms of those who work with joy.
For if you bake bread with indifference, you bake a bitter bread that feeds but half man’s hunger.
And if you grudge the crushing of the grapes, your grudge distills a poison in the wine.
And if you sing though as angels, and love not the singing, you muffle man’s ears to the voices of the day and the voices of the night.
Who designs? Computer or human?
“Having an idea, feeling inspiration, and using motivation are things that the computer cannot do. The computer enriches the design process. For me, it itself and the way it works is often an inspiration for research and experimentation. Working with the computer is a symbiosis.”
— Lena Weber on Ambiguous Aesthetics.
Society does not want inspired humans walking around because an inspired human bends life to his or her will and an uninspired human conforms. if you want to change the world, aim to be inspired everyday and see everything around you as art and as a potential creative thing
