![holy:3nity is a 21st-century icon triptych that depicts cybernetic angels and explores the impact of God-like technologies on spirituality and belief systems. The project reflects on the possibilities of the future where technology and science have surpassed human limitations and the boundaries between the physical and digital have blurred.
The central topic of each artwork is an angel, which is commonly considered a "supernatural spiritual being and benevolent celestial intermediary between God and humanity." However, in this project, the angels take on a new form that is constructed using cybernetic and neumorphic elements, acting as symbols for the ways in which omniscient AI, immersive technologies and omnipresent smart devices have infiltrated our lives and religious beliefs.
The "holy:3nity" icons embody a new symbolic language for expressing complex ideas about dataism, posthumanism and the potential of the human condition in a protopian and AI-driven world that affects humanity, both today and in a variety of speculative futures.
