HOURS:
-Saturday 11am - 6pm
-Sunday 11am - 6pm
(may be required to come in early or work late to complete workload whenever necessary)

COMPENSATION:
$17 – $20 / hour according to experience.

Picture Room is seeking a highly organized and self-motivating person to work weekends in the shop. Candidates must have some experience working with artworks and sales, gallery experience is a plus.

Candidate will be the public face of Picture Room each weekend, and will set the tone for the space. Selling artwork is our priority. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and cordial, and can easily converse with walk ins about the artwork in the shop.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Corresponding clearly with customers and sending information about artworks to potential clients
-Putting together Artwork PDF Decks when a customer is requesting information about more than 5 works, or when the customer is a potential Trade Client
-Checking the [email protected] email and responding to sale inquiries, forwarding any higher level correspondence to Director, Sandeep Salter or Archivist, Christine Choi
-One Instagram Product Post per day
-One Instagram stories post per day (4-6 product slides)
-Checking & responding to Instagram DMs
-Packing and shipping artworks
-Fulfilling web orders (all web orders must be given to a UPS driver or taken to UPS on Saturday. Orders that come in Sunday must be packed and left in Salter House to go out on Monday)
-Coordinating with Archivist, Christine Choi, about what products are ready to put online
-Uploading new products to the website weekly
-Ensuring that all website products are also posted to Facebook and available to tag in Instagram
-Sending an update each Sunday night about completed work to Director, Sandeep Salter or Archivist, Christine Choi
