on the blog, I can't scroll past an are.na embed on mobile.
for example, on https://www.are.na/blog/a%20collection%20of%20channels/2018/07/10/reading-lists.html, because the embed intercepts input and is taller than the viewport of my iphoneX, it's possible for me to get to a place where the embed takes the whole screen and doesn't pass the scroll onto the parent page even after i've scrolled down through the whole embed. At this point I'm stuck.
There is a side margin on the site, but it's so thin that my, maybe fat fingers or ios touch rejection, can't scroll using them.
enter to submit text:
- on mobile, I have no way to shift+enter so when I was entering text in a block I naturally hit enter on the touch keyboard to insert a new line. Instead a new block was created.
on an iphone X, something about the size of blocks relative to the screen made me think there was an error in text blocks and that my input was lost. I didn't realize that the block had been created below (out of my viewport)
on desktop, sometimes just hitting enter makes a new line (editing a text block), and other times shift-enter is required (editing a comment). They both look similar (white boxes) so it's hard and frustrating to remember which uses which behaviour
markdown issue in comments:
- characters don't make bullet points on new lines.
see comments for example
on my phone, i can see the trash icon on a block but i cannot delete it. tapping it opens the block instead.
