"Jagariko Charcoal grilled yakitori flavor”
Not a lot to say about these. Jagariko are one of the most popular and well-known Japanese snacks (and with good reason!), so I won’t comment on the aspects that are common to all Jagariko flavors.
When you first peel open the lid, there’s a roasted smell that’s more like coffee than a charcoal grill. It wafts out and dissipates completely almost instantly. Taste is good but not markedly different than butter/baked potato flavor. In fact I’m struggling to find anything chicken-like or grilled-like about these. There is the most subtle hint of something on the particularly well-dusted sticks, but if I was blindfolded I wouldn’t be able to tell you what. Basically: it tastes like Jagariko.
Overall: These are good because Jagariko are good, but I can say with confidence that this flavor is no one’s favorite Jagariko ever.
