Death Ritual: Anthropological Perspectives ?
-(skeptical of this one), this a really cut and dry real of “broad definitions of rituals” but I’m more interested in how these are adapted an altered today as sincere, quiet, intimate, quick/haphazard, queer.
-I am interested in “Ritual Practices” (specifically - what the body is adorned with (physically) post the breathing stopping)). It’s fluid/seepy/gross/etc.
-liking (pg 8. “Mourning is transition” message) // (pg 9. Mortuary rituals promote the solidarity of the group)
-not liking most of the tone and also the vibe on pg 13 nor the conclusion.
