I’m reading a paper by Timothy van Gelder called Dynamics and Cognition, and realizing there’s a peculiar analogy between the computational model of mind and what I’m trying to do with Goby.

Namely: Goby lets you build representations of ideas and knowledge, in the same vein as those fed to traditional AI. The key is that a representation is a sort of human systematic approach to understanding and describing the world, rather than something native to the world’s structure. One could call it a way of digitizing the world.
