One day when my dad was about 24 and still lived in Bristol, he and friend decided to create a full breakfast installation/ street performance - complete with table, chairs and dressing gowns - on a small roundabout in the middle of a busy road. A local radio station asked if it was "political?" The police stopped to question them - my dad replying "we wanted to cheer up the commuters". They spent a very happy morning hanging out with their tea and newspapers, then packed up and went home.
