Mid Century Modern Tour | Alden B. Dow | Heath House
Alden B. Dow was the son of Herbert Dow, who founded The Dow Chemical Company. Though initially studying engineering, Alden switched to architecture and graduated from Columbia University in 1931. Only a year and a half out of college, Dow was invited to participate in Frank Lloyd Wright's first summer class at Taliesin in Spring Green, Wisconsin.
