plain weave
Velon monofilament, black cotton thread, wood shavings

The surprising dynamic profiles of the wood shavings and their textures make a rich contrast with the Velon monofilaments used for the warp and weft and with the fine black weft. Deft use is made of the dark and light transparent materials, which have been packed together to make a dot-dash pattern.
