GrowNYC offers New Yorkers free tools and sustainability resources including farmers markets, community gardens, recycling and education programs.

Born out of the spirit of the first Earth Day, GrowNYC was initially a policy-based organization, writing comprehensive reports about quality of life issues like air quality, traffic, and noise. As the city as changed, GrowNYC has emerged as the largest and most established environmental organization in NYC with 3 million New Yorkers participate in its programs annually.
