Susan Sontag's seminal 1964 essay 'Notes on Camp',

Susan Sontag's seminal 1964 essay 'Notes on Camp', which helped codify an understanding of queer sensibilities and aesthetics through the lens of camp. It's a fun text that I think everyone can bring a bit of a different perspective to, and ultimately can be a jumping off point to a wider conversation about, for example: queer representation, the evolution of queer sensibilities (and their appropriation, both of and by other communities), the importance of queer voices in art, and all sorts of stuff. I'll add a couple more short articles in the comments that can help stir up some ideas around these topics! Notes on Camp is here:…/…/Sontag_Susan_1964_Notes_on_Camp.pdf
