I started this account on Monday night at 5AM, restless yet too disheartened to sleep. Our bodies are processing a lot of strong emotions right now - anger, fear, urgency, heartbreak. We are simultaneously making sense of the present and reckoning with the compounded trauma of navigating the world’s antiblackness - it’s exhausing. So rest, beloved.
