What is this?

Stole LeWitt is a very casual side project to slowly re-create and update 20th century "minimalist" artworks by the likes of LeWitt, Judd, Flavin, McCracken, Chamberlain, et al with 21st century techniques.

Trying to picture what this would look like? Imagine LeWitt's incomplete cubes 3D printed, or using LED lighting strips instead of incandescent tubes for Flavin's work. Or the compcated chassis' of contemporary car models for Chamberlain's work.

The idea is to collaborate with an open, anonymous collection of individuals to have fun & recreate these works under the "Stole LeWitt" name. Credit where credit is due, etc.
