I am a London based performance artist exploring queerness, ecology and intimacy through rituals. My previous work investigated menstrual activism; ancestral healing; elemental magick; conscious (eco)sensuality practices, through an anti-colonialist, feminist lens.

My main medium is the intersection of poetry with a butoh-based dance practice.

I am currently undergoing an embodied research into hybridity, exploring failure and vulnerability in relation to our body-ecosystem.

I am inspired by playfulness, animals and tarot.

Can we, through dancing the non-human, tackle one of the roots of the ecological crises- speciesism? Can hybridity act as a methodology to help us understand the role of our bodies in the world (with its earth wounds) at the moment?

Through trance states in movement, I am exploring how we can access personal and collective mythological spaces, where hybrids are in continuous creation: everytime two or multiple organisms come in deep resonance. Therefore, ritual alchemical dance offers a safe and empowering space where we can embody “the other”, the animal, the plant kingdom, the elements. I am fascinated by how this process helps us question our human identity, as well as subverting hierarchy between organisms.

I am exploring hybridity as resistance, as the play between identity and consciousness, as an embrace of liminality, as a peek into a cosmically sensuous, eco-love-based futurity within apocalyptic times. Hybridity as a methodology of creating, of staying in the becoming, of learning how to dance with both violence and ecstasy.
