'What matters is that we get organized, even though it is difficult to localize the initiative in care: we grow flowers to decorate our houses, and flowers, through their beauty, seduce us into cultivating them. In addition to caring, care implies a willingness and ability to respond. It demands us to act in medias res, in the feedback loops of transformative processes of cultivation that oblige us more than their end products do.’
