Matteo Di Giovanni is an Italian photography-based artist whose work deals with personal, social and anthropological issues, focusing on the themes of memory, identity and human limitations. He received a MA in Documentary Photography at the University of Westminster in London in 2012.

He has published two monographs, I Wish the World Was Even (2019) and Blue Bar (2020). He is now working on a third body of work – Traces – due to be published in 2022. The three bodies of work will altogether form a “loose trilogy” that will gather in a solo show at Robert Morat Galerie in Berlin in Fall 2022.
