all ravers have an affinity with the nonhuman; its the relationship with the nonhuman that creates the rave. im thinking back to that chapter in a new dark age where bridle is talking about co-creative human / non-human practices as being the most powerful. like centaur chess. there seems to be a similar effect at play at the rave. here, the nonhuman (drugs, computers / machines) align with the human (dancers and djs) to produce an experience that is extra-human, collective, and inseperable from the other.
could a purely human, analog rave ever exist? what would it look like?
