Recent (DEFINE) developments in technology influence every part of our lives. We have new mediums for disseminating information throughout the Super Modern. Changing how we communicate, research, discover, create and evaluate. Shifting our perspective. Impacting our relationships, brains and art. As a Visual Communication Designer developing my practice and research in this period I am exploring the influence and value of information.
Technology influences every part of our lives. Developments in technology are creating new mediums for disseminating information throughout the Super Modern. Changing how we communicate, research, discover, create and evaluate. Shifting our perspective. Impacting our relationships, brains and art. As a Visual Communication Designer developing my practice and research in this period I am exploring the influence and value of information.
These functions are, not coincidentally, very similar to the ones performed by computers, which are programmed for the high-speed transfer of data in and out of memory. Once again, we seem to be taking on the characteristics of a popular new intellectual technology. (Carr 142)
