Info
April Greiman, Susan Kare, Emigre, Zap Art, and other digital artists associated with the post-Pacific Wave era. Rave/techno graphics, fractals, The Mind's Eye, harsh pixelated thermographic imagery with warped fonts made newly possible through the proliferation of the first wave of desktop publishing and image manipulation software. (early 80s to ~1993)
Note*: Removed 'Pacific Wave' from the name because that movement is distinct & earlier, taking off in the late 1970s and early 80s. While it was a major influence on the 'Early Cyber' style, the processes were mainly analog. I would check out the book, 'Pacific Wave', which collects work from major west coast designers of the era.
