Žádná tvůrčí osobnost totiž nepřestává být pokorným studentem svého oboru. Přitom se zde nejedná o pokoru „věčného studenta“, jehož jméno najdeme na každé žádosti o finanční podporu či grant a který přijme i ten nejkratší pedagogický úvazek. Také tím není myšlen student-akademik, který je lektorem (tj. čtenářem) svého oboru a hodlá ovlivnit jeho teorii a kritiku. Slovem „student“ označuji spíše ty, kteří se nepřestávají ptát, co dělají a proč.
