the song has a sort of arcade game, bubbly-gum feel to it. I'm thinking something along the lines of it starting off as a tetris game where one of the pieces doesn't want to be crushed by other pieces and disappear for ever.
maybe the piece is a circle or triangle -- one that literally doesn't fit in?
