Deep Adaptation for Artists is an ASSEMBLY for cultural workers interested in forming community to support collective thinking about cultural production in light of possible near term social and environmental collapse as a result of climate change.
Key questions:
How can artists and culture workers help conceptualize survival, futures, and adaptation?
How might we go about organizing communities of support, even as we continue to manage the precarious, displaced conditions of our lives?
How does the near-term collapse of central art institutions/markets shift ideas of value and our role as cultural actors?
What spiritual and material resources do we as artists need to continue doing our work in the face of drastic change?
