- Cliches
Common knowledge is the opposite of an insight. So if you flip cliches, then you probably have an insight.
Google ‘TOPIC + cliche” If your product can live up to that, then you have your insight.
- Thought Pieces
Journalists writing thought pieces are often bringing a new angle to a well-discussed topic.
Google ‘Topic + Local Thought Piece Publication (The Atlantic, The Economist, The New Yorker). I’ll share some examples in the comment.
- Stand Up Comedians
Comedians livelihood relies on insights so google ‘TOPIC + stand up comedy’
However, the most important rule is never to look for insight without your problem statement.
