￼￼When you’re feeling down your feelings are blue
When you’re enjoying the afternoon sky it’s blue
￼When you’re running up a checc, the $trips are blue
When you’ve been hurt really bad￼, your black & blue
In life there’s lots of moments of distress or joy
it’s all about how you handle it in that moment
Don’t over analyze it
Learning that hurting you pride is apart of resolving conflicts.
You can’t hold onto to ego and pride while simultaneously trying to be sincere and apologize.
Lastly if you don’t practice how to resolve minor conflict with people around you. Especially with family, friends -
and lovers you may feel lonely and alone. Especially if your only style of self protection to conflicts is to “step back” “ignore the person / situation “ “shut down” “disappear with dissatisfaction”.
How am they supposed to know how they offended you if you didn’t tell them sooner ?
If they choose to not understand even after you built the courage to explain it. Then you won’t come to a win win resolution and should then give them space since they won’t change even after you tried to resolve the issue.
It’s almost impossible to safely drive a car while only looking in the rear view mirror. Only seeing where you’ve been is a terrible way to figure out where to go.
