A series of x-ray films produced at the research nuclear reactor at Reed College, Portland OR in 2016 while visiting professor of sculpture. The x-rays were made by relief printing titanium white rubber based ink on vellum, rolling up the prints, dropping them down into the reactor and irradiating them. The titanium particles in the ink are easily excited and give off a good amount of gamma rays. The vellum prints were then placed on x-ray film and a contact exposure made. Produced in collaboration with Melinda Krahenbuhl, Director and Chief Chemist at Reed College Research Reactor
