we don't know people, we know our image of them. and, if we can't have them in our life anymore, we're only left with this image, only qualities we knew or even wanted them to have but they didn't. mostly.
loving someone is about opening up and accepting. we need to let people be themselves and observe them rather than
draw conclusions. we need to listen.
and even then we may be left with their own image of themselves, not true them.
it's no good clinging to those you've lost. no good in bringing them back. the one is the original one, you can't replicate them perfectly. you may get everything you loved about them, but actually we love the imperfections and stuff you don't expect to get from them too, the fact that they're independent and
incomprehensible, not just this image.
what is we find celestial beings and won't understand their consciousness. we seek to find something other than us, but what if it's so different from us that we won't recognise it if we do find it.
the Solaris planet's ocean does things on its own, experiments on people, puts ideas and things / entities in their minds. is it the conscious being? is it something we want to be conscious the way we are? can something that is not breathing, talking, moving, etc, be one?
