all the sounds, the lights and the impressions are intentionally set to this time and place for me to experience. I'm living in a meticulously prepared grand plan which is slowly enfolding itself in front of my eyes.

I will never shy away from overextending myself or being open to the organic process of love flowering between people. I have seen so many people make shipwrecks of themselves because of insecurity. I have seen who I become in my insecurity and it's an exhausting experience. So many people meet now at this juncture of being used to being unloved and used to living on and within their insecurities almost like a survival instinct. I want new survival instincts for all of us, based on security, vulnerability without fear or emotional retaliation.

Adolescence is supposed to be an identity Schrodinger's Cat: multiple simultaneous states which eventually collapse into only one. The goal of adulthood is to let go of the other possible existences and to make the best of the one. A successful adult is one who understands that it doesn't matter which life you ultimately pick, only that you live it well. The same potential for, say, happiness exists whether you are a construction worker, porn actor, or wealthy industrialist.

The ability to articulate what you think and how you feel with certainty exemplifies patience and commitment to growth. Being vague with our desires and areas of focus frees us from accountability and ultimately lands as avoidance. It is increasingly rare & beautiful to be decided.

Decided

The new challenges we face in the Age of Attention are, on both individual and collective levels, challenges of self-regulation. Having some limits is inevitable in human life. In fact, limits are necessary if we are to have any freedom at all.

I hope you all find yourselves sleeping with someone you love, maybe not all of the time, but a lot of the time. The touch of a foot in the night is sincere. I hope you like your work, I hope there’s mystery and poetry in your life — not even poems, but patterns. I hope you can see them.
