Radboy: I mean, a couple of days ago I was wearing some Telfar and I got gay-bashed. You think about the actual threat of violence in relation to what you’re wearing when you have a commute. But how do you play with that possible violence? You can do it the obvious way and get a coat to put over it, or you can go a different way. You can make the statement even louder and repel people.
Oliver: Scare them off.
Radboy: It’s that vulnerability and self-consciousness, where you open yourself to attack. And bringing that into fashion, that is a beautiful thing.
