What the rich people will be eating in 2050?
we've seen lab-grown meats and plant-based meat but they are all based on our existing sensory memories of food that we have tasted. Will we be eating designed and artificially "created" species of animals and plants in the future as novelty food like how we have raised animals for tenderer muscles or fruits with higher sugar content? What if rather than cultivating new hybrids through breeding or genetic modification, a life-form is completely designed and created from scratch ingredients to satisfy a specific taste?
